Chip Mong Insee Cement Corporation (CMIC) has acknowledged its 73 top performing retailers from across Cambodia. They have been rewarded for their achievements over the first Semester, between January and June 2018. These retailers have each received a brand new Honda Dream motorbike. The awards ceremony took place on 4th August 2018 at CMIC’s Head Office on Street 271 in Phnom Penh. Presiding over the ceremony was Mr. Chhong Yeoub, CMIC’s National Sales Manager. The event forms part of CMIC’s efforts to show ongoing appreciation for the loyalty of its partners and distribution network.
Chip Mong Insee Cement Corporation (CMIC) is a joint venture between the Chip Mong Group and Siam City Cement Company Limited. The company currently operates its plant at Touk Meas District in Kampot Province. The plant has capacity to produce 5 000 tons of cement every day. The company produces Camel Cement as its main brand for the consumer market, which is offered in two variations: Camel Orange for Portland Cement and Camel Green for Mixed Cement.
Camel Cement has been used throughout Cambodia, in the construction of several landmark buildings, including Naga World 2, Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel, Borey Chip Mong Land and Parkson Mall.
Mr. Chhong Yeoub said, “We are very happy with our partners’ performances and we have no doubt that they will continue to perform at such a high level.” He added, “Together, let’s build with pride.”
Phnom Penh’s winner, Mr. Lim Samneang, said that he has been selling Camel Cement for many years and is very happy with CMIC and its team. He pointed to the company’s level of service and the lengths it goes to reward its partners.
Aside from the Honda Dream motorbikes, CMIC is also awarding hundreds of other prizes to retailers around the country, including jewellery and mobile phones.
